Bringing Biji & Kotak to life is definitely an great milestone in our journey of creating this IP. Thank you Dasein Academy of Arts for giving us the opportunity to make this happen, we are really grateful for the collaboration.
This event goes beyond a conventional art exhibition. While the opening ceremony takes center stage, it is more than just a showcase of art; it’s a vibrant feast of knowledge and spread awareness about cancer from our latest collaboration with Cancer Research Malaysia.
We commence the event with the signing of the MOU with Dasein Academy of Art. We earnestly look forward to our prospective collaborations subsequent to the formalization of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dasein. Our collective efforts will be directed towards educational initiatives that seamlessly integrate creativity. Anticipate upcoming creative workshops and camps in collaboration with Dasein Academy, designed to inspire the next generation of animators.
Following the MOU signing ceremony, we proudly premiered our latest short film, “Bed Time Story”. A collaborative effort with Cancer Research Malaysia.
Representatives took the stage, spreading awareness of cancer through engaging talks, making the event a powerful platform for both artistic expression and meaningful discussions.
“I am deeply moved by the art community’s willingness to address cancer-related issues! It is my hope that the integration of art and science can enlighten more Malaysians, spreading awareness and knowledge about cancer prevention.” The Chief Scientific Officer of Cancer Research Malaysia stated as she express her gratitude towards this short film.
Since the birth of Biji, we’ve held the belief that it’s Biji’s role to disseminate positivities and provide healing to our audiences. Being part of spreading awareness about cancer is a truly wonderful and inspiring opportunity, aligning with our mission. Due to many are unaware of the severity of cancer in Asia, it’s our job to bring out the awareness to take it seriously.
In addition to our short film collaboration, we organized a charity initiative where donors received a small Biji figurine and had the opportunity to participate in a fluid art workshop. This not only allowed people to contribute to a charitable cause but also provided a platform for them to enjoy, express creativity, and try something new.

The event doesn’t conclude with the ceremony; we extended invitations to Yoichi Ataka, Co-CEO of Polygon Pictures Malaysia, and I-van from MDEC as our guests. They shared valuable insights on IP creation and how MDEC can assist fellow artists, adding another layer of enrichment to our event.
The entire sharing session was brief yet impactful, offering valuable insights for aspiring young artists, fresh graduates, and budding entrepreneurs. Our aim is not only to showcase our works and achievements but also to nurture other seeds to flourish, much like Biji and Kotak.
As the event concluded, we were delighted to witness the satisfaction of many attendees. Beyond being a visual feast, they also took away valuable knowledge. However, this marks not the end but the beginning of our exhibition journey. Stay tuned for more updates!
